What is Paramedic Interactive?
Paramedic Interactive is a series of 51 online modules that cover all paramedic-level didactic material. Each module contains pop-up quiz questions every few slides to ensure content comprehension and an "end of module" exam (typically 10 questions). Where applicable, Flash animation has been included.
Does Paramedic Interactive require special software to run?
Built in a program called Articulate the modules are essentially fully narrated, high-end PowerPoint presentations and will run as Flash-based programs. Because these courses are Flash-based, they should work fine on both Mac and PC. Flash player is pre-installed on more than 95% of all computers sold.
Does Paramedic Interactive contain skills video?
Modules do not feature any skills video.
Will students' results appear in the JBCourse Grade-book?
Results from Paramedic Interactive will not report back to JBCourse. For example, if you are using BOTH Paramedic Interactive AND JBCourse, work done on Paramedic Interactive will not be submitted to JBCourse or its grade-book.
What tracking capabilities are provided for instructors?
Instructors will have tracking capability through JBLearning, knowing when a student has completed a module and submitted a final grade. There is no reporting of total time spent, or a breakdown of time spent on a given topic/module – except that instructors will know that a student completed an entire module. If a given module is 58 minutes long, instructors will know that students spent 58 minutes online.

The passing grade of Paramedic Interactive is 70%.

If I am a student, how do I purchase and log-in to Paramedic Interactive?
Students receive an access code via email following purchase. Login instructions are included with this email. The student must redeem the access code per the instructions in the email and create an account online. If purchased independent of a course, there is no need to select a "course coordinator". The student must log into JBLearning to access/launch the course modules.
If I am an instructor, how do I purchase and log-in to Paramedic Interactive?
Instructors/Agencies will be emailed an access code and login instruction. The instructor is responsible for distributing access codes to students. The student must them redeem the access code per the instructions, and create an account online. Students must log into JBLearning to access/launch the course modules.
